SESSIONS FOR SUNDAY 30TH NOVEMBER 2008 ONLY HAVE BEEN ALTERED TO THE FOLLOWING:

10.00 to 11.30 Senior Dance

11.30 to 12.30 Junior Couples

12.30 to 2.30 Senior Couples

Sessions will be back to normal the following week.

There is no skating on Friday 5th December 2008 as that is the date for the Club Christmas Meal. Please come skating on the Saturday Club session this week instead. There are still places available for the Club Christmas Meal. Please speak to Neville or Sue if you are interested in coming.

The next Club League Competition will be held on Saturday 6th December 2008 at Abbey School, Faversham. Please let Keith know if you are interested in competing.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE KENT ARTISTIC OPEN COMPETITIONS SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 2009 HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. KENT ARTISTIC ARE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER DATE TO RESCHEDULE THE EVENT. WE WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED AS SOON AS WE ARE AWARE OF A NEW DATE

LATEST NEWS

The first League competion was held on Saturday 8th November 2008 at Abbey School. This event is to be held monthly with points awarded depending on skaters position within the group. There will be an award at the end of the season to the skater with the highest points. This was a great success with 14 entries for the first event. We are looking to increase the number of entries for the second League competition to be held on Saturday 6th December 2008. See the League Competition Page on the website for further details.

NEW MEMBERS DRIVE

WE ARE ACTIVELY LOOKING TO GROW THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE CLUB

WE RUN CLUB SESSIONS AT ABBEY SCHOOL ON FRIDAYS FROM 7PM TO 8.30PM AND SATURDAYS FROM 3PM TO 5PM. WE WELCOME ANYONE TO COME ALONG AND HAVE A GO. NO NEED TO BOOK - JUST TURN UP AND SKATE WITH US.

We do have skates to hire for the club sessions. It is best to ring to Keith on 07971 088383 to reserve skates for a session if you are coming down and need hire skates.
